Roaster's Notes:
I opened the bucket of roasted coffee the other night and my wife on the other side of the house came over to exclaim "Wow! It smells so good!" When you want your house to smell like a coffee shop, this is the one to get. The classic chocolatey and nutty profile pairs well with milk for creamy and delicious cappuccinos and lattes that taste almost like a mocha without the need to add any chocolate syrup. There's just enough acidity to punch through so you can still taste the coffee. As an espresso shot, this blend has strong notes of 85% dark chocolate with a plum-like tartness. It's got a beautifully thick crema and was pretty easy to dial in. I got good results with a 2:1 ratio shot, grinder setting 10 on my DF64 Gen 2, aiming for a standard 30 second shot time.
