Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Q: Is your coffee sold as whole beans or ground?

A: We offer both whole bean and ground coffee. However, we highly recommend choosing whole beans whenever possible to ensure peak freshness and flavor. Grinding your coffee just before brewing will give you the best possible taste experience.

Q: When is your coffee roasted?

A: We roast coffee in small batches to ensure freshness. Orders are typically roasted within a few days before shipping.

Q: How fresh is the coffee when it arrives?

A: Most customers receive coffee within a week of roasting. Each bag includes a roast date so you know exactly when your coffee was roasted.

Q: Can I brew the coffee right away?

A: Fresh roasted coffee contains higher concentrations of CO2 gas trapped inside the bean. Typically, it is best to wait 3-7 days after the roast date on the bag when enjoying our coffees as a pour over or drip. If you are planning on using an espresso machine, we suggest waiting at least 7 days after the roast date before enjoying to ensure the CO2 gas does not negatively affect the flavor.

Q: How should I store my coffee?

A: Store your coffee in an airtight container in a cool, dark place. Avoid the refrigerator or freezer, as moisture can damage the beans.

Q: How long does coffee stay fresh?

A: Whole bean coffee is best enjoyed within 3–4 weeks of the roast date for peak flavor.
